Wilson Scores 30 Points, Grabs 17 Rebounds in Aces' 92-78 Win
Las Vegas, NV - A'ja Wilson put together another dominant performance on Tuesday night, leading the Las Vegas Aces to a 92-78 victory over the Indiana Fever. Wilson finished with 30 points, 17 rebounds, and 4 assists, as the Aces extended their winning streak to three games.
The Aces got off to a hot start, taking a 25-12 lead after the first quarter. Wilson was a force on the offensive end, scoring 12 points in the quarter. The Fever fought back in the second quarter, outscoring the Aces 23-17, but the Aces still took a 42-35 lead into halftime.
The Aces continued to control the game in the second half, led by Wilson's continued dominance. Wilson scored 10 points in the third quarter, and the Aces extended their lead to 65-53. The Fever made a run in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead to 72-67 with just over six minutes remaining.
However, the Aces responded with a 10-0 run to put the game away. Wilson scored four points during the run, and the Aces cruised to the 92-78 victory.
In addition to Wilson's big night, Kelsey Plum added 19 points for the Aces, and Riquna Williams scored 15 points. The Aces shot 46.5% from the field, and they outrebounded the Fever 47-33.
The Fever were led by Victoria Vivians, who scored 20 points. Erica Wheeler added 18 points, and Breanna Stewart scored 15 points. The Fever shot just 38.6% from the field, and they turned the ball over 17 times.
The Aces will look to extend their winning streak to four games when they travel to Los Angeles to face the Sparks on Thursday night. The Fever will look to snap their three-game losing streak when they host the Chicago Sky on Friday night.
