Two Drivers Killed, One Injured

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision on Highway 401 near Kingston, Ontario. On Wednesday morning, a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle collided, resulting in the deaths of two drivers. A third person was taken to hospital with injuries.

Highway 401 Closure

Highway 401 is still closed near Kingston after the crashes that left one dead and 28 others injured. Around 1:00 am, a tractor trailer and another large truck collided in the westbound lanes, causing a chain-reaction that involved several other vehicles. The OPP closed the highway in both directions to clear the wreckage and investigate the incident.

The OPP is asking motorists to avoid the area and find alternate routes. Traffic delays are expected throughout the day.
